Manufacturing Partners / Ingredient Network

Ingredient supplier network & sourcing philosophy.

DermisIQ concepts are built around modern, well-documented cosmetic ingredients sourced from reputable global suppliers. This page outlines our high-level sourcing philosophy so manufacturing partners can quickly understand how we approach quality, availability, and traceability for key materials.

Philosophy: modern, documented, and scalable.

IQ Labs LLC favors materials that are technically robust and commercially realistic. Whenever possible, DermisIQ architectures leverage ingredients that have strong technical dossiers, broad distributor support, and a proven history in modern skincare systems.

  • • Preference for materials with established cosmetic regulatory usage and clear technical documentation.
  • • Emphasis on suppliers with consistent quality and reliable long-term availability.
  • • Focus on ingredients that integrate cleanly into standard manufacturing workflows.

Global suppliers, local distribution.

We recognize that many best-in-class actives and functional materials are developed globally but distributed through U.S.-based channels. Our intent is to align with the distributor networks and preferred supply routes already used by our manufacturing partners.

  • • Comfort working with regional distributors representing global manufacturers.
  • • Flexibility to adapt to individual lab relationships with specific distributors.
  • • Openness to recommended alternates that preserve DermisIQ’s performance profile.

Quality, traceability & documentation expectations.

Our ingredient selections are made with long-term stability, traceability, and compliance in mind. We expect all key functional materials used in DermisIQ architectures to be supported by appropriate technical documentation.

  • • Current Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and technical data sheets available on request.
  • • Clear INCI identification and supplier trace-back for each functional material.
  • • Transparent communication when materials change, are discontinued, or move to extended lead times.
  • • Support for reasonable documentation needs related to regulatory filings, where applicable.

Ingredient categories we prioritize.

While specific selections vary by project, DermisIQ concepts often rely on the following ingredient categories to achieve our sensorial and performance targets.

Delivery & texture systems

Encapsulation systems, emulsifiers, structuring polymers, and rheology modifiers selected to support soft-matte, non-greasy textures suitable for daily wear.

Barrier & support systems

Peptides, ceramides, and skin-identical lipids that reinforce the barrier while remaining compatible with our preferred emulsion and delivery profiles.

Sensory & refinement components

Emollients, powders, and sensorial modifiers optimized for controlled slip and soft-focus finish, selected based on both lab data and wearer experience.

Working with your preferred suppliers & alternates.

We understand that each manufacturing partner has existing relationships and negotiated programs with certain suppliers and distributors. Our goal is to align DermisIQ concepts with these realities while preserving the core performance intent.

  • • Openness to using house-preferred equivalents where they match required function, quality, and sensorial profile.
  • • Willingness to collaborate on side-by-side comparisons when alternates are proposed for key materials.
  • • Respect for proprietary supplier arrangements held by our manufacturing partners.

A flexible, quality-first sourcing approach.

This overview is intentionally directional rather than exhaustive. Specific ingredient selections, supplier identities, and distributor pathways are confirmed during R&D and commercial contracting. What remains constant is our commitment to quality, traceability, and realistic long-term sourcing for every DermisIQ architecture.
